Gray Erlacher, MD expanding practice to Harris Family Care – Cullowhee at Western Carolina University Health and Human Sciences building

Cullowhee – Harris Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the expansion of Dr. Gray Erlacher’s practice to include Harris Family Care – Cullowhee at the Western Carolina University Health and Human Sciences building. Dr. Erlacher has practiced at Harris Medical Associates since February and has started seeing patients at both locations to maximize convenience for patients. He is board certified in family medicine.
Harris Family Care – Cullowhee opened in 2013 in the 95,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Health and Human Sciences building on Millennial Initiative property on the West Campus of Western Carolina University. The clinic serves as a family practice for the community and as a training site for nursing and nurse practitioner students at WCU. At Harris Medical Associates, located at 98 Doctors Drive in Sylva, Dr. Erlacher practices alongside Lee Ann Manthorne, DO, Steve Queen, MD, Randall Provost, MD, Beth Dixon, MD, Ana Gonzalez, MD and Connie Borgerding, DO.
Dr. Erlacher completed a residency in family practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee after an internship at the University of Wisconsin St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Originally from North Carolina and a graduate of Western Carolina University, Dr. Erlacher received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University after completing post-graduate courses in pre-med at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
