Harris Regional Hospital to offer free Lunch & Learn May 10

Franklin, N.C. – Harris Regional Hospital will offer a free educational event on ‘Boomeritis And The Aging Athlete’ on Thursday, May 10 at the Southwestern Community College, Macon Campus, room 111 from noon to 1:00 p.m. Orthopaedic physician Dr. William Handley will present the session. The ‘Boomeritis And The Aging Athlete’ discussion will address natural aging issues such as tendon, bone and muscle pain and complications. Ailments along with treatment options will also be discussed and Dr. Handley will be answering participant’s questions at the end of the session.

Boomeritis is only one of many sessions available to the community through the free Physician 4-1-1 Lunch and Learn series that is scheduled for 2018.
