Harris Regional Hospital welcomes third general surgeon this Fall

SYLVA, NC Harris Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome Joshua Pratt, DO to Harris Surgical Associates, a Duke LifePoint physician practice, in September. Dr. Pratt will join Billy Noell, MD and Eric Reitz, MD in providing expert surgical care to the region. Harris Surgical Associates can be reached at (828) 586-3976.

Dr. Pratt completed his residency in general surgery at Franciscan St. James Hospitals in Chicago, Ill., where he served as chief resident. In his residency training Dr. Pratt completed rotations in pediatric and trauma surgery in addition to general surgery. Dr. Pratt received his medical degree from the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth after graduating from Harding University in Searcy, Ark.

A native of East Tennessee, Dr. Pratt is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the American Osteopathic Association. Harris Medical Associates is located on the third floor of Harris Medical Park, 98 Doctors Drive in Sylva.
