Breast Care

Harris Regional Hospital offers the latest advances in detecting and treating breast cancer at the earliest possible stage.

Digital mammography is available at Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital. Our breast care experts suggest that women over 40 years of age get a mammogram once a year to aid in the earliest possible detection of breast cancer.

To schedule a mammogram, obtain an order from your primary care physician or gynecologist. You or your physician’s practice may call the Harris Regional Hospital Scheduling Department at 586-7950 to schedule.

In the event that you should need cancer care, a network of skilled providers is available to guide you through the treatment process in a compassionate way, providing insight and expertise during every level of treatment.
