Gray Erlacher, MD joins Harris Medical Associates

Harris Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome board certified family physician Gray Erlacher, MD to Harris Medical Associates located at Harris Medical Park, 98 Doctors Drive. Dr. Erlacher joins Lee Ann Manthorne, DO, Steven Queen, MD, Randall Provost, MD, Elizabeth Dixon, MD and Ana Maria Gonzalez, MD in providing primary care to the community. Dr. Erlacher completed a residency in family practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee after an internship at the University of Wisconsin St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Originally from North Carolina and a graduate of Western Carolina University, Dr. Erlacher received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University after completing post-graduate courses in pre-med at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Erlacher has practiced in the region for years, most recently at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital and the Cherokee Indian Hospital. He also cared for native populations in Alaska in addition to practicing in the North Carolina triad and Wisconsin. As a pre-med student Dr. Erlacher volunteered in the emergency department and observed operating room cases at C.J. Harris Hospital. Both of his children were born at Harris Regional Hospital.
