Harris Regional Hospital to host special Lunch and Learn February 20th on heart care and emergency heart symptoms led by Dr. Brad McAbee

In recognition of Heart Month, Harris Regional Hospital will host a free, informative Lunch and Learn session on heart health and emergency heart symptoms. The event will take place on Thursday, February 20th from 11:30AM – 12:30PM in the Easton Board Room on the first floor of the hospital.
Brad McAbee, MD, an experienced emergency medicine physician with specialized expertise in managing emergent heart conditions, will lead the session. Dr. McAbee will focus on recognizing the signs of a heart attack, understanding when to seek care, and what to look for in order to respond effectively in an emergency.
Heart disease continues to be a leading cause of death in the United States, but timely intervention can make a significant difference. As an accredited Chest Pain Center, Harris Regional Hospital is committed to providing high-quality care for heart-related emergencies. Dr. McAbee will share critical insights into heart attack warning signs, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness, and will explain when to seek immediate medical attention. This session is designed to give attendees the knowledge they need to take swift action when it comes to heart health.
The Lunch and Learn will be held in a welcoming environment, and a complimentary lunch will be provided to all participants. The event is an excellent opportunity for individuals to ask questions, gain essential information about heart health, and connect with others committed to improving cardiovascular well-being.
